The assessment form is limited to contact details, participant role, a short collaboration summary and consent records. Do not submit identity documents, banking details, title documents or confidential transaction records through this form.
1. Who controls your data

2. Data we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, participant or professional role, assessment or enquiry content, correspondence, consent record, submission reference, timestamps, review status and limited technical or delivery records needed to operate and secure the service. We do not request KYC documents, banking details, title documents or confidential transaction records through the public assessment form.
3. Why we process data
We process data to respond to enquiries, provide requested services, assess governance readiness, maintain security and records, comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, improve our services and send communications where permitted. The applicable basis may include consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests assessed against individual rights.
4. Sharing and service providers
We use selected hosting, database, authentication, transactional-email, security, backup, professional and technology providers to operate the website and assessment workflow. Providers process information only for the relevant service and under appropriate instructions or terms. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect lawful rights. We do not sell personal data or share assessment information with unrelated parties for their own marketing.
5. International transfers
Some technology providers may process or store data outside Nigeria. TitleShield will maintain a provider inventory and apply the contractual, organisational and other lawful safeguards required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable guidance.
6. Retention and security
We retain assessment and enquiry information only while it is reasonably needed to evaluate and respond to the request, provide an agreed service, meet legal or contractual obligations, preserve relevant disputes and maintain necessary security and audit records. Records that are no longer required will be deleted or anonymised in line with TitleShield’s approved retention schedule. We use proportionate controls including restricted administrator access, multi-factor authentication, row-level database security, protected secrets, encrypted transmission, backups, logging and incident procedures. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, information about processing, withdrawal of consent and review of certain automated decisions. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is completed.
8. Cookies and technical records
The current site uses only limited functionality required to display and operate the website. Hosting infrastructure may create security and access logs. If non-essential analytics, advertising or preference cookies are added later, we will update this notice and request consent where required.
9. Children and changes

This policy describes the current website assessment workflow. Broader participant onboarding, KYC, document storage and transaction workflows will not be activated until their additional privacy, retention, security and professional-review requirements are approved.
